I am George Vallossian, and after thirty years behind the chair, the question I still hear most at the end of an appointment is: George, what should I use at home? Here is my honest answer.
Good hair at home is not about owning many products. It is about using the right ones, the right way. These are the three products I use at my salons and keep on our shelves, and what each one is for.
The George Vallossian Repair Hair Mask is my own, and the one I am proudest of. It is a leave-in mask you put on towel-dried hair, made in Barcelona by Skymedic and dermatologically tested, enriched with hydrolysed silk proteins, a biologically active peptide and Abyssinian oil. The mask is designed to reverse damage, encourage hair growth, protect from heat and UV light, lock in colour, build keratin, nourish, rejuvenate and restore. My advice: wash your hair, skip the conditioner, towel dry, then work in one or two pumps. You can leave it in and let your hair dry naturally. If you colour your hair or use heat tools, this is the one I would start with. A writer from Luxuria Lifestyle tried it at the salon and said she “absolutely adored” it.
For shine and protection against breakage, we use the VOLMIŪ Hair Serum, a restoring hair oil. It is light and non-greasy, protects against heat, and leaves a soft, satin finish - it will not weigh your hair down. Use a little after each wash.
